Penobscot Bay Media has a long history of successful project experience as a government prime and subcontractor. Given our significant experience solving the toughest challenges for Federal, State and local government customers, Penobscot Bay Media has become known as an innovative technology partner, capable of delivering intelligent, timely and cost-effective custom applications, IT services and enterprise-wide IT solutions.

As a thriving Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) and Woman-owned small business, our customers receive the additional benefit of being able to count our work against their SDVO and Woman-Owned contracting goals, but we don't limit our customers to just the capabilities we provide ourselves. Many engagements involve partnering with other small businesses, large government contractors and technology integrators to provide the government with end-to-end solutions to what are sometimes very complex requirements.

Many of our federal customers appreciate the ease of contracting we make available as a Prime Contractor to the Veteran Technology Services Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (VETS GWAC), a subcontractor on many popular contracting vehicles such as Seaport-e, FHWA SFTY II and Asset Management and Alliant, among others. We also hold GSA Schedules 70 (IT) and 899 (Environmental GIS).

Several senior officials have underscored the importance of participating in the VETS GWAC, encouraging government agencies to use this indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract as a vehicle for their IT solutions:
