Pen Bay Media, working as a subcontractor to SAIC, is developing a software application that gives multiple organizations, or levels within the same organization, the ability to coordinate on a draft document, track all comments made with a complete history of how each comment was handled, and assist with the product of the next version of the document. Additionally, the application The LDST’s server side components are Java based. The web-based portion consists of a central comment and draft publication data store and a web application for distribution, collation, and tracking of comment data and entering, reviewing, adjudicating, and editing comment data.The application provides vastly improved coordination capabilities through a simple user interface built in Flash.
