In-Vision Attribute
In-Vision Attribute
PenBay In-Vision Attribute is the first layer of additive information used to define a space within the PenBay In-Building Information System. In-Vision Attribute provides definitions for rooms and spaces in terms of physical definitions, space classifications and customer-defined qualifiers. Additional In-Vision Attribute services include vectorizing the base scan for integration into a GIS or CAFM solution. Attribute information can be viewed and manipulated through In-Vision Portal or delivered in a variety of file formats for viewing in existing applications.
The In-Vision Attribute solution collects and delivers holistic space, building and site definition information faster, and with more precise spatial accuracy than has ever been possible before. Utilizing revolutionary spatially aware robotics technology, we capture multiple datasets in one sweep, effectively eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming individual surveys of your facilities. Our expertise in developing and implementing sophisticated information visualization tools, enterprise GIS solutions such as ESRI ArcGIS, and CAFM solutions such as Archibus, provides the framework for delivering geospatially referenced attribute data about your facilities.
In-Vision Attribute is the first layer of additive information used to define a space within the PenBay In-Building Information System, providing definitions for rooms and spaces in terms of physical definitions, space classifications and customer-defined qualifiers. In-Vision Attribute services include vectorizing the In-Vision Footprint base scan or converting your existing CAD for integration into a GIS or CAFM solution. Attribute information can be delivered in a variety of file formats for viewing in existing applications or viewed and manipulated through the In-Vision Portal visualization solution as part of the larger PenBay In-Building Information System. Available file formats include AutoCad, Revit, geo database file formats, and open source formats like GML or KML.
In-Vision Attribute allows you to describe and define your building landscape in as great a level of detail as you desire or need in order to enhance your understanding of the built environment and help you manage the performance of your buildings. Capture square footage of windows, number of paintings on the walls, how many Herman Miller chairs there are in which offices. Customer defined attributions can be as diverse as necessary and can use the space classification standard that has been adopted by your organization. It's completely up to you.
Value Proposition
With In-Vision Attribute, layering this sophisticated data on to the base scan of your interior space can provide valuable insight into complex cross-functional applications such as integrated emergency planning, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), real property asset management, and space utilization analysis.
Survey crews utilizing traditional hand-held technology require days, if not weeks, on site to capture a very small data sample while simultaneously introducing a whole host of operational interruptions. We easily cover more than 150,000 square feet in a day with a crew of two individuals.
Vectorization and space definition added to your base scan enhance your ability to perform sophisticated spatial analysis of facilities and assets across interior and exterior spaces for individual buildings, across an entire campus, or for a global real estate asset portfolio.
With PenBay you get more information about your built environment, in less time and for a very competitive cost.
